Experience

Timber Cove is a newly reimagined, full-service destination experience. Located on a dramatic bluff overlooking California’s Sonoma Coast, Timber Cove is architecturally stunning. The hotel features 46 newly designed guest rooms, including eight premium suites, with unobstructed forest and ocean views. The sound of crashing waves soothes guests daily. Amenities include the new Coast Kitchen, featuring endless ocean views and fresh seasonal organic fare; our renovated Great Room, which provides a fun cozy bar and lounge; and our new Outdoor Living Room, which provides billiards, ping pong, fireside drinks, and snacks.

The hotel is located within 2-1/2 hours of the San Francisco Bay area and only 60 minutes from Sonoma County Airport (STS), with access to some of the best wine tasting in Sonoma County. Scenic coastal drives to the charming towns of Fort Ross, Bodega Bay or Sea Ranch are great day trips, with outdoor activities like canoeing, hiking and kayaking also available.

OUR LOCATION

Located on Highway 1, Timber Cove is about fifteen miles north of downtown Jenner and one hour from the Sonoma Airport. Often photographed by famed photographer Ansel Adams, the setting is considered to be one of California's most beautiful coastlines.

SONOMA COAST

With more than 55 miles of dramatic Pacific coastline, 400 award-winning wineries and the charming cities of Jenner, Bodega Bay, Gualala, Sea Ranch and Timber Cove, the Sonoma Coast is a destination unlike any other. The area makes for one of the most stunning drives anywhere, with many scenic overlooks beckoning travelers to pull over for a rewarding view.

If exploration is more your speed, Sonoma Coast State Park and several regional parks dot the coastline. Culinary tours, bird watching, guided vineyard walks, whale watching trips, hikes through the Redwoods, camping on the coast and VIP winery tours are also available to meet your desire for a memorable adventure.
